Dog and Pony show is taking the Southeast by storm. If you haven't seen them in concert, you don't know what you're missing. If you have seen them, you'll never forget their massive sound!
The Dog & Pony show was founded in 2008 by Derrick “Cookie” Cook and Matt Dixon, formerly of a local Chattanooga band; “Hairpin Trigger”,. Former drummer from “The Unsatisfied” band, Tony Byers joined the group to create their explosive blues/rock sound.
In September, 2008 the group began recording their first studio album; due out in the Summer of 2009 with the title yet to be released.
Influences such as Government Mule, Duane Allman, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Cliff Burton have helped the group mold themselves into a band that sounds like no other. Individually, each are extremely talented but combined together, they are simply incredible.
